The forum is now closed. I've loved running the site and learnt so much from the experience but unfortunately I don't think I'll have time to continue to do so and no one else could be found to take over. I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed their advice, comments and time to the site over the past 5 years and wish you and Potters Bar the very best!

It would have been a shame to discard six years of discussion about issues which characterised this period of the town's life. This period included the closure of Sunny Bank School, changes to Potters Bar rail station, discussion over greenbelt issues and the closure of Woolworths. Not only are these of importance to Potters Bar but also illustrative of wider trends in comparable British towns, with reference to contemporary concerns including global warming and the environment amongst others.

Therefore an archive of all these discussion topics has been created, as it was thought there might be some future historical or novelty value in the content. The archive consists of all the publically available discussion topics and each post therein in both TXT (plain text) and HTM (html) formats. More information is obviously avaliable in the archive.
