Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travelcard_Zone_6) lists 20 Travelcard Zone 6 stations that aren't in Greater London.

Interesting! One of the mayoral candidates had a commitment to bring some stations into Z6. This commitment was rubbished by another candidate who said it wouldn't happen as they would need to be in a London Borough for this to happen. Shouldn't believe spin Wink

I would love to see PB in Z6 and would like to think PAYG would make the journey cheaper. I've never understood why some businesses charge so much they drive business away when to my mind they would make more profit charging less.

Especially on the trains where the train is running whether people are using it or going by bus to Cockfosters. The ODTC from Cockfosters or Hadley Wood is £7 - unlimited travel anywhere in 6 zones - yet the extra 2 miles to Potters Bar is another £5.
